      Lorna Vallings is an independent recording artist based in Toronto, Ontario. A talented singer-songwriter, she has songs featured in major motion pictures - the title track to her CD Taste is featured on the soundtrack to Universal Pictures' The Skulls (2000) and in the video release Cruel Intentions II: Manchester Prep (2000), and her songs were featured in the Swiss film, Dead by Monday (2001) and the New Zeland TV series "Mercy Peak".

      Response to the 1999/2000 independent release of Taste was outstanding. With the title song in films released worldwide, Lorna developed a loyal, international fan base. The song "Taste" reached #15 in the Top 30 in Lebanon where it shared radio air-time with Moby, Madonna, Lenny Kravitz, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jennifer Lopez and Dido.

      Lorna's next album, If Wishes Were Horses, was released in June 2002 and was honoured with a 2003 OutMusic Award Nomination for Outstanding New Recording by a Female Artist. The pace undaunted, If Wishes Were Horses, was followed by a lush, more rock-based album, Confidential released at the top of 2004.

      African born, raised in Australia and living in Canada, Lorna Vallings is a popular performer and independent musician who stood out on the indie scene in Australia and has carved her niche in the indie scene of her new home town - Toronto, Ontario.
